What is The Village Retreat?

This retreat is a highly curated experience for mamas of stillborn babies to come and share their story, honor their baby, and connect with other mamas on the same path. These women show up authentically, with no need to worry about anyone else around them for an entire weekend. They are free to BE just as they are. We are here to listen to their stories, love on them, connect with them and offer ways to cope and learn to manage this lifelong grief suitcase as they continue to live their daily lives.

Mamas from all over the United States attend, in different stages of their grief journey. We have mamas who have recently lost their baby and we have mamas who lost their baby many years ago. Everyone is welcome, regardless of religious affiliation or if your stillbirth was full-term or during the second trimester. Each year the Lord brings together the perfect group, it never fails.
